Jude 1:1

Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called:

Jude was also the half brother of the Lord Jesus Christ.

The word "sanctified" may be translated "Loved" due to a mis-translation.

"and being preserved in Jesus Christ" Suggests that God is guarding his Saints through Jesus Christ. He does not want to lose any of them.

"and called" Jesus calls us to himself.
